Meet Mark!

Who I am:
I’m a husband and a father to two amazing little kids. I grew up in Florida, but spent a bunch of time traveling for work and fun. I recently joined the TWLOHA team primarily to oversee the TWLOHA merchandise. This includes our online merch, as well as all of the items you see at each of our events and retail stores.

Stuff I love:
Most of my time outside of TWLOHA is spent with my family. We are a pretty active crew and always on the go. I’m a big fan of surfing, fishing, and golfing, and I’m up for watching about any sport. When I’m indoors, I’d like to be working through The West Wing DVDs, although cartoons tend to rule our T.V. currently. Modern Family is also a favorite of mine. When it comes to my current music taste, I’ve been listening to Augustana and Amos Lee. My favorite food is sushi, but nothing too adventurous.

Why I’m here:
I’ve been around Jamie for years and have seen the true care he has for people. Over the past six years, I’ve watched this grow into an amazing movement. I’ve personally seen the effects of depression and addiction, and I love being a part of the idea that there is hope and there is help. It’s a true honor to play a part in this story.

My most memorable moment on the TWLOHA team so far was at an event in California. I had the pleasure of talking with a girl who wanted to make sure we knew she was still alive because of what we do; because of the community she had found in TWLOHA and the idea that her story is important. I’ll never forget that conversation.
